Privacy Policy

What we collect

• Account. You sign in with Sign in with Apple. We store the identifier Apple provides and, if you share it, your name and email address.
• Course data. The syllabus PDFs you upload (including pages you scan with the camera) and the course information extracted from them: schedules, deadlines, grading rules, policies, instructor contact details, and any corrections, notes, questions, or events you enter yourself.
• Support and diagnostics. If you send feedback from the app, we receive your message and, only if you leave the option on, the screen and course you were looking at plus your app version, OS version, and device model. If the app crashes, a crash report without any account identifier is collected so we can fix it.

SyllaGoose does not collect your location, contacts, or browsing activity, does not show ads, and does not use your data for tracking.

How syllabus documents are processed

When you upload a syllabus, it is stored under your account in Google Firebase (our cloud provider) and sent to Google's AI service to extract course information. The extracted information is stored alongside the document, in your account only. Google processes the document as our service provider; it is not used to show you ads.

Who can see your data

Your documents and course data are private to your account, protected by per-user security rules, and other SyllaGoose users cannot access them. inifo staff can reach stored data only to operate the service or to help with a support request you send, and Google processes it only as our service provider. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing.

Deleting your data

You can delete any course, including its uploaded documents, from inside the app. You can also delete your entire account (Settings → Delete Account), which removes your account record, all course data, feedback, and all uploaded files. If any part of that fails, the app tells you so you can try again.

Children

SyllaGoose is intended for college and university students and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will note it in the app and update the date above.
